On 13 January 2006, the Navy made the establishment of the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command, based at NAB Little Creek, official.  Many of us will be a part of this rapidly growing aspect of the GWOT, so I expect that many, if not most, of us will be brought up to speed in the next few months with mission tasking, etc.  Stay tuned!
